Installation Guide (for IT Admins)

Installing MoviusConnect in Microsoft Teams

  1. Go to the Apps tab in MS Teams.
  2. Search for MoviusConnect.
  3. Click Add on the app card.
  4. Close the confirmation message once installed.

Note: A Microsoft Azure Administrator must allow the app for the tenant before installation.

Pre-Pinning MoviusConnect in Teams

To ensure visibility and adoption, you can pre-pin MoviusConnect for all users using App Setup Policies:

  1. Go to Teams Admin Center.
  2. Navigate to Teams apps > Setup policies.
  3. Select an existing policy or click Add to create a new one.
  4. Under Pinned apps, click Add apps and search for “MoviusConnect”.
  5. Arrange the pinned app order (App bar, messaging, meetings, etc.).
  6. Click Save.
  7. Assign the policy to users/groups.

Tips:

  • It may take a few hours for policy changes to reflect.
  • At least 2 apps must be pinned for it to appear in mobile clients.
  • Custom apps with configurable tabs are not supported via setup policies.
