You can choose when to use Wi-Fi or data for calls using Call Settings.

  1. Click the menu icon ⋮ in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Click Settings
  3. Select Call Settings

To only make or receive calls and SMS when connected to Wi-Fi, set the WiFi Only toggle to on.

Select your option for making calls:

    1. Choose on Dialer: On the main screen for calls there is a toggle that allows the user to manually toggle between data and minutes calling mode. Note: This is the default setting.
    2. Minutes Only: All calls will be made through minutes or traditional cellular. When a number is dialed using Minutes Mode the outgoing call will use the native phone’s dialer and minutes to make the call.
    3. Data Only: All the calls will be made through data. When making a call in data mode the application will not use the native dialer, but instead display the outgoing call within the application. If connected to WiFi the application will use the WiFi connection. If you move out of WiFi coverage the application will seamlessly transition to a data connection without dropping the call.
    4. Wi-Fi: If selected, all MultiLine activity will only function with a Wi-Fi connection.

Select your option for receiving calls:

  • Minutes Only: All incoming calls will come through minutes or traditional cellular. The incoming call will use the native phone’s dialer and minutes to receive the call. Iote: This is the default setting.
  • Data Only: All incoming calls will come through data. When receiving a call in data mode the application won't use the native dialer, but instead display the incoming call within the application. If connected to WiFi the application will use the WiFi connection. If you move out of WiFi coverage the application will seamlessly transition to a data connection without dropping the call.
  • Try Data, Otherwise Minutes: MultiLine will attempt to receive the incoming call with data, but if it isn't available the call will use the native phone's dialer and minutes to receive the call.
